How to Download Windows 7 Beta

The beta (Build 7000) of Microsoft’s latest Windows version, Windows 7, was supposed to be released yesterday. They underestimated the massive amount of interest and their servers crashed, and according to the beta page, it is currently not available. However, the staff at Lifehacker.com found the direct download links:

There is no way to get product keys (possibly if you used the link on the MS website when it was available) but the trial will run for 30 days, and you can extend it to 120 using the command slmgr -rearm.

Update 1/10: The official beta site is now back online, and product keys are being given out when you download. No need for this method anymore!
